The Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme has been extended until 31 December 2026 under DGFT Notification No. 41/2026-27, dated 30 September 2026. The notification appeared in the DGFT notifications listing uploaded on 13th October. RoDTEP helps eligible exporters recover specified embedded taxes and duties that are not refunded through other mechanisms. For India's rubber product exporters, the continuation of the scheme is relevant to export cost calculations and pricing strategies. Manufacturers exporting industrial rubber goods, moulded components, footwear and other eligible products should verify the applicable product codes, rates and procedural requirements before claiming benefits. The extension provides continuity for eligible shipments during the revised period, subject to the scheme's applicable conditions.
