The All India Rubber Industries Association, Eastern Region, Kolkata, organized a two-day hands-on AI Workshop for the Rubber Industry on 21-22 August 2026 at the AIRIA-ER Conference Room. Led by Mr. Vinamra Garg, Founder, VIN-AI and Member, Calcutta AI Club, the workshop brought together 14 owners, directors and senior decision-makers from rubber manufacturing, raw materials, chemicals, trading and machinery businesses. IDFC FIRST Bank participated as the Knowledge Partner.

The programme focused on practical applications of AI across business functions, with live demonstrations using platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, NotebookLM and Canva AI. Participants explored AI-enabled solutions for quotations, costing, quality documentation, customer communication, export enquiries and market research. Sessions also covered responsible AI adoption and data security.

Participants developed personalized "Company Brain" workspaces and practical business tools, including quotation calculators, enquiry pages, product catalogues and quality dashboards. The workshop concluded with individual AI implementation roadmaps. Mr. Arnob Guha, Member, MC, AIRIA and Vice-Chairman, AIRIA-ER, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
