The Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), in association with CGTMSE, is conducting an awareness programme on collateral support for export credit under the Export Promotion Mission - Niryat Protsahan. The initiative focuses on helping MSMEs understand eligibility, benefits and operational aspects of export-credit support, particularly where collateral requirements can restrict access to finance. This is directly relevant to India's non-tyre rubber manufacturers, as a large portion of the sector comprises MSMEs that need working capital for raw-material procurement, production and export orders. Easier access to export finance could strengthen the ability of smaller rubber companies to compete internationally.
