Haryana to introduce new MSME policy to boost exports, ease of doing business

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced that the state government will soon introduce a new MSME policy aimed at boosting exports, improving ease of doing business and strengthening support for micro, small and medium enterprises.
Under the draft policy, the export freight subsidy support limit is proposed to be increased from Rs.10 lakh to Rs.30 lakh per unit annually. Industries exporting more than 80 percent of their production will receive special recognition on the proposed
The policy also proposes expanding the Mukhyamantri Vyapari Kshatipurti Yojana to offer affordable insurance coverage for small traders and MSMEs against losses arising from fire, theft and natural disasters. To improve ease of doing business, land feasibility certificates will be issued within 45 working days.
The government has also proposed releasing 50 percent of eligible incentives within seven working days after preliminary scrutiny, with the remaining amount to be disbursed within 45 days following detailed verification. The chief minister said entrepreneurs would receive interest at the rate of 8 percent per annum if the Industries Department delays the release of eligible incentives.
