The National Institute for Rubber Training (NIRT), functioning under the Rubber Board, has announced a five-day training programme on dry rubber products manufacturing scheduled from 27 to 31 July 2026. The programme is designed to enhance the technical capabilities of entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and individuals interested in rubber product manufacturing. Participants will receive practical and theoretical training covering the principles of rubber compounding, moulded, extruded, and calendared rubber goods, as well as process control and vulcanization testing.

In addition to technical subjects, the programme will include sessions on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) schemes and marketing strategies for rubber products, providing participants with valuable insights into business development and market opportunities. The medium of instruction will be English, making the course accessible to a wider audience. Through such capacity-building initiatives, the Rubber Board aims to strengthen technical expertise, encourage entrepreneurship, and support the growth and competitiveness of India's rubber products manufacturing sector.
