The Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) is exploring joint ventures and partnerships with Indian companies for local manufacturing of rubber products, said Samir Shah, representative of MRC. The Council is supporting technology transfer, innovation and collaborative R&D to enhance product quality and sustainability, besides promoting investment opportunities in healthcare, automotive and consumer goods sectors, he said. Shah was speaking at a programme hosted by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to strengthen bilateral trade in natural rubber and explore new avenues of collaboration.
