A delegation, led by Mr. Vincent Lin, Director of Taiwan External Trade Promotion Council (TAITRA), visited AIRIA, Northern Regional Office on 24 October 2025. The AIRIA (NR) side was led by Dr. Shobha Dhawan, Chairperson, AIRIA, Mr. Navneet Gupta and Mr. Saurabh Malhotra both Vice Chairman and Mr. Mukesh Kakkar, Mr. Sanjiv Sikka and Mr. Ashwani Sarin, Members of AIRIA (Northern Region).

The discussion began with a presentation on the upcoming India Rubber Expo (IRE 2026), which is scheduled to be held from April 7-10, 2026 in New Delhi. TAITRA was cordially invited to participate in the expo, which will strengthen the India–Taiwan industrial partnership and foster meaningful engagement in technology, materials, and manufacturing excellence.

Mr. Ashwani Sarin, Management Committee Member of AIRIA, shared in-depth insights on the current trade deficit and the import–export dynamics between India and Taiwan, projecting the scope and potential of enhancing bilateral trade through technological and material synergies.

This visit stood as a testament to the strong partnership between India and Taiwan and to the common purpose of promoting technological advancement, material innovation, and sustainable industrial development between both the countries. AIRIA was inspired by the potential of joint participation with Taiwanese industries, working together to build long term channels of collaboration that yield mutual growth and benefit.
