In Memoriam: Shri Rajendra R. Shah

Some people unknowingly inspire others during their lifetime through their good habits, warmth, and helpful nature or as a mentor. A convergence of these qualities personified could be Shri Rajendra Ramanlal Shah, who left on for heavenly abode recently in early August.

Mr. Shah was associated with the All India Rubber Industries Association from past 20 years and was a member of AIRIA Managing Committee, Western Region, various events such as India Rubber Expo, National Rubber Conference, Technical Seminars etc. He inspired many with his wit and dedication and during his career mentored many prominent committee members in AIRIA.

Mr. Shah's dedication went on to secure sponsorships and new memberships in their respective drives during events. He went on an extra mile to help AIRIA grow. His phenomenal qualities of being polite and cheerful, enthusiastic about new projects, genuine but honest feedbacks etc. Most importantly, he was never seen angry by any members of the association. Such calm mind could only be achieved through rigorous discipline, which he always followed throughout his life.

His two nephews Rasesh and Gaurav Shah are always active in the business and AIRIA and are taking forward his legacy to new heights, who also show the same demeanor.

Here are some messages from the committee members from AIRIA:

Shri Rajendra ji Shah fondly called as Rajubhai, was a true human. Always cheerful and polite. Have selflessly stood for the cause of industry and fellow members from time to time. Has always given his time and also contributed with his company taking positions and sponsorships etc to encourage and help fellow member to conduct successful programmes. Have selflessly voiced for membership drives, members dues before cut off dates, encouraging and bringing in new members. He was a thorough family man with nurturing and bringing his immediate and extended family as well always and the two nephews Rasesh and Gaurav have been wonderful boys and active in industry. He was also people's person and religious and led a very disciplined lifestyle. I have rarely rather never seen him loose his cool or me any animosity but rather bring people together whenever possible. It is hard to believe such a good human is no more with us in person, however I am absolutely certain he is at a better place and will always shower his blessings on all. Our prayers remains for him and well wishes to his entire family.

We fondly called him Rajubhai. He was truly a dedicated person for the all noble causes and work at AIRIA. He formally introduced me to the AIRIA family. I am grateful and fortunate enough to get his guidance from time to time and he made sure that he rigorously followed up on tasks given. He was simple but a great soul. We will miss you dear Raju bhai. My condolences to Shah Family and I pray that his soul attains Sadgati for onward journey. Om Shanti.
