BKT completes Bhuj mould facility
|
|

As part of its broader strategy to increase manufacturing capabilities and production capacity, BKT has invested a substantial Rs. 3 billion (approximately £27.7 million) in the new mould plant. This investment aligns with the company's continuous push to modernize its facilities, ensuring they are equipped with the latest technology and automation to enhance quality and efficiency.
The completion of the new mould plant is expected to significantly enhance BKT's production capabilities. As of early 2022, BKT's overall achievable capacity stood at approximately 285,000 MT per annum. With the new plant operational, the company aims to increase this capacity to 360,000 MT per annum by the end of the financial year 2023.
BKT's continuous investments in its Bhuj facility underscore its commitment to maintaining its status as India's largest off-highway tyre manufacturer. With products sold in over 160 countries, these developments are crucial to supporting BKT's global expansion efforts and reinforcing its market position.
By enhancing production capabilities and implementing state-of-the-art technology, BKT is well-positioned to meet the growing demands of the off-highway tyre market. The new mould plant at Bhuj not only represents a significant financial investment but also a commitment to innovation and quality that will drive the company's growth in the years to come.
