The All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA), Western Region's Pune Chapter, in its Series of Technical Seminars, organized Eighth topic titled - Know your Compression Set Testing on April 17, 2024. This free of cost seminar for AIRIA members and was conducted by both through online and offline modes and is initiated by Pune Chapter Chairman Mr. Rajesh Mhaske and Vice Chairman Mr. Ninad Joshi.
The seminar was conducted by Mr. Prafulla Patil, who boasts 32 years of experience in various rubber industries and as an entrepreneur, manufacturer and consultant in the field of Rubber technology as well as Quality Management System.
The seminar started the welcome and getting to know session where participants and speaker briefly introduced themselves. After welcome and introduction, Prafulla Patil Sir continued the Seminar.
The Seminar began with a brief detail about the below mentioned topics:
- Types of Compression set methods.
- Test specimens & Conditioning.
- Compression set under constant deflection in Air as per ASTM D 395 Method B.
This seminar was attended by more than 50 plus delegates online and offline from all over India. The participants were very pleased and gratified with the productive information shared by Mr. Patil.
All the participants stayed till the end and gave a patient hearing to the entire session. It followed by a brief, question and answer session and active participation. All the attendees were enthralled at deep insights shared at the platform and appreciated the speaker.
