A Technical Seminar on Compounding Technology was recently organized by All India Rubber Industries Association, Northern Region (AIRIA-NR) at Hotel Home In, Murthal, Sonipat, Haryana on 22nd April, 2024.

All guests were welcomed by Mr. Saurabh Malhotra, Vice-Chairman, NR and Mr. Anil Arora, Convener. They informed all the participants about AIRIA activities and requested non-members to become members of AIRIA to avail benefits of different activities carried out by AIRIA. They further conveyed that our AIRIA- Northern Region will try and organize one event every month and requested them to attend the same in big numbers.

There was overwhelming response to the Technical Seminar and more than 90 participants attended the same. The presentation was made by the eminent speaker Dr. Samar Bandyopadhyay, having rich experience of more than 30 years in the field of Polymer Technology.

Dr. Samar Bandyopadhyay covered in detail the Compounding of Natural Rubber, IR, SBR, BR, Butyl Rubber, NBR, EPDM, Neoprene Rubber & FKM. He also explained the role of different ingredients to be added in the formulation. It was an interactive session and all the participants enjoyed the presentation and surfaced their questions which were very satisfactorily answered by the speaker.
