Ampere Electric, a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd, opened its 300th dealership outlet in Panvel, Maharashtra.

Ampere has added 80 dealership outlets post-unlock expanding its retail network, the company said in a statement.

P Sanjeev, COO, electric two-wheeler at Ampere Electric, said, "We are now a family of 75,000+ customers and 300 dealers in the country. With a host of financing tie-ups, aggressive digital push, and customer-friendly schemes, we have evoked significant interest amongst the e-scooter and B2B buyers and channel investors across the nation".

The electric vehicle firm has launched a series of high-performing electric two-wheelers in the past 18 months and claims to have 20% market share in the segment.

The company has also been strengthening its leadership and has recently appointed Roy Kurian as COO, E-Mobility Business (2W&3W).
